Für die Spiele-Plattform Steam, besser gesagt deren Client, gibt es ein neues Update, welches seit dem 1. Februar verteilt wird. Mit an Bord sind vor allem allerhand Fixes bekannter Probleme, aber hier und da wurden auch Kleinigkeiten verändert oder gar hinzugefügt. So ist beispielsweise ab sofort die neue Version des Big Picture Mode zum Standard ernannt worden.
Vorerst soll sich die alte Variante aber noch über die Kommandozeilen-Eingabe „-oldbigpicture“ aufrufen lassen. Außerdem wurde die Unterstützung für das Umschalten des primären Monitors unter Windows als OS hinzugefügt. Erreichen könnt ihr das Ganze unter Einstellungen -> Anzeige -> Bevorzugte Anzeige. Der Bildschirm zum Durchsuchen von Steuerungskonfigurationen kann nun eine Vorschau von Konfigurationen anzeigen und die Auswahlprozesse zeigen nun eine Vorschau an, die dann angewendet wird, anstatt die Konfiguration direkt auszuwählen.

- Big Picture Mode
