Logic Pro X 10.4.2 und MainStage 3.4 erhalten umfangreiche Updates

Apple schickt seine Digitale Audio Workstation Logic Pro X in die nächste Update-Runde. Das Programm, das auch als Software-Audio- und Midisequenzer herhalten kann, wurde auf die neue Version 10.4.2 aktualisiert. Zeitgleich hievt man auch MainStage, in vielen Funktionen zu Logic Pro X identisch aber auf Live-Musik ausgerichtet, auf die Version 3.4. Eine Neuerung ist besonders essentiell: Inhalte lassen sich in beiden Anwendungen nun auf ein externes Laufwerk auslagern. Genau das wurde in der Vergangenheit immer wieder von vielen Usern gefordert.

Des Weiteren habe Apple laut eigenen Aussagen in Logic Pro X 10.4.2 Smart Tempo stark verbessert. Jenes könne nun das Tempo von Mehrspur-Audioaufnahmen oder Stems sowie MIDI-Spuren übernehmen. MainStage enthält neben Stabilitätsverbesserungen außerdem auch viele neue Instrumente und Plug-Ins. Die vollständigen Release Notes zu Logic Pro X findet ihr hier. • Studio Strings and Studio Horns are deeply sampled, realistic ensemble instruments with custom articulation controls
