Zusätzlich zur regulären Version des Xiaomi Mi 11 hat der chinesische Hersteller auch noch eine Special Edition des Smartphones vorgestellt. Technisch ist dieses Modell zum regulären Mi 11 identisch. Allerdings kommen als Standard 12 statt 8 GByte RAM zum Einsatz und auch gibt es diese Version ebenfalls nur mit 256 GByte Speicherplatz. Vor allem das Design der Rückseite weicht jedoch ab.
So wird das Xiaomi Mi 11 in dieser Variante auch als Lei Jun Signature Edition vermarktet, benannt nach dem Firmengründer. Die Rückseite, die je nach Lichteinfall in unterschiedlichen Farben schimmern sollte, setzt nun zudem auf zusätzliche Scodix-Kristalle für diesen Effekt. In China kostet das Xiaomi Mi 11 Special Edition umgerechnet ca. 590 Euro. International dürfte diese Version wohl eher nicht auf den Markt kommen.
