OnePlus 8T: Open Beta 5 wird verteilt

Nach dem OnePlus 8 und dem OnePlus 8 Pro versorgt OnePlus auch das 8T aus dem vergangenen Jahr mit einer neuen Open-Beta-Version. Jene ist quasi identisch zu der Version auf dem OnePlus 8 (Pro), kommt aber als „Open Beta 5“ daher. Neben zahlreichen Verbesserungen und Problemlösungen ist auch der Security Patch für den Monat Mai mit an Bord. Außerdem neu mit dabei: Die Unterstützung einen Bitmoji auf das Always-on-Display zu bannen. Da hat man sich vermutlich nicht abgesprochen, aber auch Wear (ehemals Wear OS) unterstützt mit der nächsten Software-Generation ein Bitmoji-Ziffernblatt. Überarbeitet wurde auch das Abspielen von Musik, bei einer Verbindung von OnePlus Watch und den OnePlus Buds. Für die OnePlus Buds will man auch allgemein eine höhere Verbindungsstabilität parat haben. Außerdem überarbeitet wurde die Video-Preview für Aufnahmen in 4K 60 FPS. Zudem räumt OnePlus ein Problem aus, dass im Gaming-Mode kein 4G-Zugriff bei der ausgewählten SIM-Karte erfolgt und man behebt diverse Probleme beim Verbinden und Wechseln von Wi-Fi-Netzwerken. Wer das Problem hat, dass er mit OnePlus-Smartphone und Vodafone-SIM nicht automatisch die mobilen Daten angeknipst bekommt, der sei auf diesen Tipp verwiesen – nicht ganz unschuldig ist hier wohl die Vodafone-App.

Und immer noch kein 5G mit o2 Germany möglich :-(.
