Microsofts Cloudspeicher OneDrive – für Office 365-Nutzer der wohl günstigste Anbieter – hat minimale Verbesserungen erhalten, die für Nutzer allerdings große Auswirkungen haben, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. Bislang war es so, dass OneDrive Dateien bis zu 2 GB Größe aufnehmen konnte. Diese Begrenzung hat man nun aufgehoben, sodass Nutzer auch größere Dateien in die Microsoft’sche Cloud laden können.
Einem Nutzer der Plattform Reddit fiel das Ganze auf und wurde mittlerweile auch von anderen Anwendern bestätigt. TheNextWeb fragte bei Microsoft nach und bekam ebenfalls eine bestätigende Antwort:
“As we mentioned on our uservoice, we have started the work to increase the file size limit for all OneDrive accounts, we have started the process with a small number of customers and will continue to roll it out to our full customer base. We will have more to share on this update in the near future, stay tuned to the OneDrive blog.”
Heißt: euer Account muss noch nicht zwingend freigeschaltet sein, eine Ankündigung seitens Microsoft steht allerdings bevor.
