Google wird in naher Zukunft die Optik des Web Stores signifikant ändern. Dies geht aus einer E-Mail hervor, die heute jeder Entwickler im Briefkasten haben sollte, der vielleicht einmal eine Web Store-App in den Web Store von Chrome entlassen hat.
In der Mail heisst es unter anderem: „In the near future, the store UI is going to change significantly. This means, you’ll need to upload new creative assets for all the items you’ve posted in the store, if you want to be eligible for free in store promotion. Without these assets, we will not be able to feature any of your items, regardless of their quality. To find information on what assets to produce as well as some useful examples please consult our documentation.“ Die ganze Mail habe ich hier einmal hinterlegt. Bin gespannt wie der Store aussehen wird, verbesserungswürdig ist er auf jeden Fall. Gerade mich als Blogger hat es ungemein genervt, dass man seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr sehen kann, welche Erweiterungen neu hinzugekommen sind.
