Wer ein Notebook mit Chrome OS nutzt, der bekommt momentan die Version 67 angeboten. Und die bringt ein paar wirklich gute Neuerungen. Wie auch schon beim „normalen“ Chrome auf dem Desktop lassen sich hier Progressive Web Apps als eigenständige Anwendung installieren. Ich beschrieb das Ganze ja schon anhand von Google Fotos. Auch optisch hat man nachgearbeitet und bringt jetzt touchbares Material 2.0 mit, allerdings nur für Tablets, nicht für Laptops. Ebenfalls nett: Support für Split Screen, dieser steht im Tablet-Modus zur Verfügung.
