Heute hat Adobe Updates für Camera Raw und Lightroom Classic sowie Lightroom für Windows, Mac, Android, ChromeOS, iOS und iPadOS veröffentlicht. Lightroom unterstützt nicht nur die neuesten Kameras und Objektive, sondern ist jetzt auch eine native App für Apple-Prozessoren – und auch Windows auf ARM-Basis wird unterstützt. Dabei erwähnt Adobe, dass man erst am Anfang sei mit den ARM-Versionen auf dem Desktop, man dahingehend aber weiter optimieren werde. Intel-Nutzer sollen sich ebenfalls keine Sorgen machen, man werde auch auf dieser Plattform weiter an Lightroom arbeiten. Lightroom Classic, Photoshop und Adobe Camera Raw wurden laut Adobe getestet und zertifiziert, dass sie alle gut mit der Apple-Rosetta-Emulation zusammenarbeiten, aber auch da arbeite man bereits an nativen Anwendungen für Apples Prozessoren.

- ProRAW format support. You’ll be able to import and edit images taken in the Apple ProRAW format in the December updates to Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic, or Lightroom (desktop, iOS, Android, lightroom.adobe.com). - New Lightroom widgets for iOS14. Quickly take photos and selfies using the Lightroom camera, explore Discover Edits and In-app tutorials from the Widgets screen. You can even drag these onto the Home screen for easier access. (Lightroom iOS only, requires iOS14 and later)
- The free Lightroom Starter plan is now available for Lightroom desktop (Mac and Win).
