Die Version 2.0.172.37 von Google Chrome ist eine Finalversion (Changelog), die automatisch an alle Benutzer von Google Chrome ausgeliefert wird. Man kann also davon ausgehen, dass man sie produktiv einsetzen kann

Bei mir kommt auch nur Iron auf den Rechner.
Dauert zwar immer relativ lange bis zum nächsten Update, aber dafür läuft das Programm auch meistens Einwand frei. Toll finde ich vor Allem, dass sie auch eine Linuxversion entwickeln.
Nur bei der aktuellen 3er Version habe ich Probleme bei manchen Flashseiten bei Linux und Windows.

ich nutze weder chrome noch iron, anfangs klang der browser intresannt, oberfläche ist ordentlich, das wars schon (zumindest für mich) bin wieder erfreulicher ff nutzer

When I try to run this on Windows 7, i get this error:
“Unable to open the script file”
Any ideas? I’ve tried running it in compatibility mode for indows XP SP2/3 and Vista/SP1 .
Can you post the AutoIt script you used so I can do some testing?

Hi caschy, Thanks for the quick response. I got a little busy so I didn’t have a chance to try it earlier. I just tried running the script now and it loaded the Chrome interface, but then gave me this error:
“The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application”
If I press ok, it leaves Google Chrome open, but displays this error in the blank area of the page:
“Something went wrong while displaying this webpage. To continue, press Reload or go to another page.”
If I try to reload or open a new tab, I just get the same error as above (The application was unable to start…).
I get the same results with the new version you posted:

I’ve tested it with Portable Chrome 3.0.193.2 & Windows 7 RTM without compatibillity mode – works like a charme!
